New favorite song: Endless Alleluia (link in comments)... For all you fans of Cory Asbury’s “Reckless Love,” please take a moment and listen to this one. My walk with the Lord has been interesting for the past several months. Just so many different things going on where I never picked up my Bible, sat and prayed, didn’t fellowship with my accountability partners, the list goes on. Life has been in a state of confusion and then some. I don’t find it coincidence that in the past week, I’ve had so many different divine appointments that showing me that it’s time to refresh. It’s those moments of pure surrender that I’ve seen God perform some amazing miracles in my life, and long story short: I’m tired of trying all this stuff on my own and failing miserably.

Yesterday, the sermon at Eastlake was about “Hero Makers.” In a nutshell, those mentors, spiritual leaders who pour all they can into others to be what they need to be for God’s purpose. There was a time in my life where I felt so alone (partly because I never reached out and shared my struggles). The minute I finally had the courage to share my story, I was sent so many amazing people to encourage me and grow my faith, pray for me and my family, it was overwhelming. They know who they are, and I’m forever thankful for your life.

Special shout out to my amazing Tita Karen Young, your visits are always a surprise, short and few and far between, but your love and encouragement for me when you’re here is such a blessing.

Have a wonderful Sunday, all!
