Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial art that focuses on ground fighting - incorporating a system of joint locks, choke holds, sweeps, and positional dominance in order to control an opponent and force him or her to submit. We offer programs for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Whether you are interested in preparing for national tournaments or simply looking for a fun and exciting hobby, our program will equip you with the tools you need to meet your goals.

Fitness

As a former CrossFit affiliate for over a decade, we are proud to be bringing back Fitness to The Stronghold! Combining weightlighting, HIIT, and other strength and conditioning, we are sure you will benefit from our program, as it can be tailored to any age and fitness level.

Self-Defense

Jiu Jitsu is one of the best Martial Arts to learn for practical Self-Defense, especially for ladies of all ages. We teach escapes from compromising situations and basic concepts for situational awareness. We offer Ladies Self-Defense Group Classes, Private Lessons and Workshops for Adults and Kids Ages 3+. Scholarships also available and we are always looking to partner with community organizations to sponsor scholarship recipients.
