Decades Later… A Media Kit!

Blogger Story Time:

A couple months ago one of my kids asked, “Why don’t we do fun things anymore?” Those fun things they meant included but not limited to: amusement park exclusive events, restaurant tastings, etc. I started to blog as a teen, and moved into “mom blogging” when Jacob was born. I always loved to write about my favorite places to hang out and eat. I slowly started networking with other moms who did the same and then received invites to amazing experiences, such as being a Disneyland Social Media Mom, LEGOLAND, SeaWorld, just to name a few. Simply put, I stopped doing most of that stuff because my kids were tired of smiling for photos and video (but they have recently changed their tune after seeing Everbel having the same type of fun they used to have when they were younger).

The blog content creation was up and down over the years, mainly because sitting down to write can be quite difficult and platforms like Wordpress weren’t always my friend. I moved to my writing on Instagram and Facebook.

Fast forward to today, I’m planning to relaunch my blog on May 25 with a party, and have made some new goals for myself this year to finally monetize. I’ve always done content creation mainly for free, and I can hear my brother in the back of my head saying “Stop doing things for free.”

That being said, I’m looking forward to possibly getting our Denver trip to Newtopia Now fully covered with some fun brand collaborations, and I can’t wait!

If you haven’t already, go follow some of Everbel’s fun adventures at Expo West this year! Instagram.com/ohextraevers
